• Citymapper: The gold standard for urban transit. In cities like London, Paris, or Berlin, it provides real-time "best carriage" info and tells you exactly which exit to take.
• Google Maps (Offline): Always download your destination map for offline use. It saves battery and ensures you’re never lost when signal drops in historic alleyways.
• Maps.me: Another good App where you can download your maps and use them offline.

Avoid "tourist rates" at the exchange counter and manage your group spending effortlessly.

• Wise / Revolut: These multi-currency accounts give you the real exchange rate. You can tap-to-pay globally with your phone and avoid the 3% foreign transaction fees charged by traditional banks. I personally used Wise a lot when I am travelling. You can just add money and change it to a different currency within the app.
• Splitwise: Traveling with friends? Splitwise tracks every dinner, taxi, and Airbnb, doing all the math so you can settle up in one click at the end of the trip.
• TravelSpend: A dedicated expense tracker that helps you stay on budget. It categorizes your spending so you know if you're overdoing it on the cocktails or the souvenirs!
• Currency: A basic app where you can check different currencies and their values.

• Uber: The most famous App for transportation. It works in most countries, but not all. Getting an Uber is much safer than a regular taxi from the streets. 
• Grab: The common transportation App in most asian countries. It works like Uber and offers more safety and affordable prices.
• inDrive: In some countries inDrive is the best option to get transportation. It doesn't offer fix prices. You put in a price and the transporter offers you a price.

If you want to book an accomodation in any country in the world, here are your possibilities.

• Booking.com: Very famous booking plattform for mostly hotels. When you made quite a lot of bookings you can get discounts through their program. 
• Airbnb: Very famous booking plattform for more private accomodations. 
• Agoda: Another plattform where you can book any kind of accomodation.
• Hostelworld: When you want to book a hostel normally hostelworld is my go to App. You can also connect to other travellers through the App.
