Welcome to the land of smiles! In this Thailand travel guide, you’ll discover everything you need to plan an unforgettable trip — including the best Thailand highlights, travel tips, and a complete itinerary.
Thailand, located in Southeast Asia, is famous for its tropical beaches, stunning temples, vibrant cities, and incredible food. Whether you’re exploring Bangkok, visiting elephant sanctuaries in Chiang Mai, or relaxing on paradise islands, Thailand offers something for every traveler.
I have been to Thailand twice. Once on a regular vacation and second time on my world travel in 2023 for one and a half months. Thailand is one of my favourite countries in the world and is so much fun!
Best Time to Visit Thailand
The best time to visit Thailand is between November and March, when the weather is dry and temperatures are more comfortable.
- Warm temperatures (25–32°C / 77–90°F)
- Low humidity
- Ideal for beaches and sightseeing
The rainy season (May–October) brings fewer tourists and lower prices, but also frequent showers. First time I've been to Thailand was actually during rainy season. Mostly there are short intense rain showers. Overall it didn't rain too much and we still had an amazing time there.
